LAX Hanger Demolition and Deluge System Modifications

Completed in 2013, EBI successfully performed over $16MM in demolition and new infrastructure work at Los Angeles International Airport. EBI demolished the American Airlines Low Bay Hangar, the Sky Chefs structure and the existing emergency deluge tanks and pump house. With the help of over 20 subcontractors, we tied in and installed new below grade high voltage electrical and large diameter ductile iron pipe to service our new pump house. In addition, a new above grade 1.5 Million gallon bolted steel tank was constructed to feed the Peerless Pumps capable of a combined output of over 17,000 gallons per minute.
